Kayla Bishop!
I have been a personal trainer for 12 years and love working out and fostering community.Â
Once I became a Mom I realized how lonely and isolating it can be being at home with your baby all the time.Â
I was also surprised at how little was available in the community for Moms and Babies.Â
Fitnesss has always been an important part of not only my physical health but also my mental health and especially as a busy Mom - workouts fuel me so I couldnt wait to sahre this with other Moms.
I decided to take my passion for fitness along with my love for connecting people and created Mommy & Me.Â
Countless friendships have been birthed from the classes as well as Moms prioritizng their health and starting to get back to movement and feeling themselves again!Â

MEET YOUR COACHES
Maria Morehouse!
Maria is one of the most loved and respected personal trainers in Saint John — you may recognize her from Social Spin or Bright Light, where her classes are always a hit. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who’s taken a class with Maria and didn’t rave about it afterward.
She has an incredible way of blending encouragement with challenge — she’ll support you through every rep while also pushing you to be your best. 💪
Maria is certified in both pre- and postnatal fitness, and she genuinely loves connecting with new mamas and their sweet babies. Her warm energy, combined with her expert knowledge, makes her the perfect coach for our Mommy & Me crew.
She also runs her own business, Strive Health & Wellness, where she brings women together through retreats, workshops, and her thriving Strive community.
When she’s not leading workouts or hosting events, you’ll find her out cycling with her husband, exploring local trails, or walking with her two dogs.
We’re so lucky to have her on the Mommy & Me team — you’re going to love her! 🧡

What Classes Look Like:
Each class is an hour long, starting with a warm-up, followed by a circuit workout, and finishing with a cool-down. The workouts are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, with modifications available to suit your needs. Your baby can be in or out of the stroller, depending on your preference—whatever works best for you!
